In washington, Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy completed a remarkable four days to clinch his first major title with an eight-shot victory in the US Open.

On another side of Washington, the second most anticipated game of golf in the Washington area took place this weekend, when President Barack Obama went out one on one with Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner.  The match took place at a golf course at the Andrews Air Force Base.
